Boys and Girls Mentoring Ministry

    These activities are modeled after the Big Brothers program.  We

    provide role models from our congregation to mentor young inner city

    boys and girls, ages 6 through 17.  The program focuses particularly on

    those who are frequently in trouble or seem to be getting off to a bad

    start. This program is open to all children and there is no fee to 

    participate.  Children are given training in various aspects of life, taken

    on field trips, to sports games, over night trips, and movies etc.  There

    are approximately 60 boys and 30 girls signed up and participating in

    this activity. No fee is charged to participate.
